Spinal Dieting
Here’s a cartoon idea I never could quite get right. It had to do with a special dieting powder just for spines: PTH. PTH is short for Parathyroid Hormone. This hormone is secreted by the parathyroid gland and is responsible for increasing the calcium concentrations in the blood stream by pulling calcium out of the bone. Sounds like something a spine wanting to go on a diet would reach for. 🙂
