Type 1 Lever

In the world of Physics, there exist three different types of levers based on the load point and where the fulcrum is.  Since we chiropractors rely heavily upon levers to do what we do, we were taught these concepts in our Biomechanics course.  One of the instructors of the course asked me around the time of my graduation if I wouldn’t mind illustrating Vert demonstrating the three different types of levers for her upcoming lecture manual.  Lever 1 is displayed here, and Levers 2 and 3 are on the following two pages.  In addition, following the Lever Series, two additional biomechanical principles are illustrated:  creep and damping.  Some of the sketches for this project can be seen by clicking here.
