High Power Vert

This is bone magnified many times under a microscope.  The original caption for this cartoon was “Up close and personal with Vert.”  I changed it at the last minute to “High Power Vert” as a tribute to my histology [study of tissues on a microscopic level] teacher, who would always would let us know when we were switching to “High Power” on the video-microscope….like we were advancing to warp speed or something.
