Ultrasound

The first cartoon without Vert.  In this cartoon we see Verta  scolding her youngest about the dangers of playing with ultrasound — fearing he might burn himself.  This one’s along the same line as not playing with matches.  Ultrasound, a physiotherapy modality sometimes used in chiropractic practice, has the potential to actually “burn” the periosteal lining of bone if the sound head is not kept in constant motion.
