Spinal Distraction

Spinal Distraction.  Distraction has a double meaning in this cartoon.  Here we see Vert trying to study, but he is obviously being “distracted” by an annoying fly.  As chiropractors, when we hear “spinal distraction,”  we think of a maneuver (similar to traction) in which the spine is gently pulled from either end — seperating the joint surfaces.
